Our season ended with a disappointing defeat to Dynamo Kebab which consigned us to the wooden spoon for the second season running.
The bad points
1. We didn’t score enough goals – simple really
2. Nick, our star midfielder being unavailable for the run in cost us dearly (see what I did there)
3. Our inability to defend a lead – I lost count of poor second half displays (including last night)
The good points
1. We only came bottom on goal difference
2. We took points off the so-called better teams again
3. Despite conceding 5 last night I got man of the match, which I think makes me top for our division
4. At times we played some sexy football
5. The new season starts in two weeks
So the good outweighed the bad really…
Big thanks to all the squad and our manager, who despite some dodgy team selections and his work in the tactics truck, does a sterling job of motivating the boys and more importantly pays for the league up front! We love you Rich, and get busy in the transfer window…
