After a series of no-shows, our league has been stopped, a few teams booted out and the two divisions have been joined. A little bit disappointing as we were looking to be set for a good season. But we seem to play better against good teams, and after languishing in the lower league for a few seasons it will be good to test ourselves against better opposition.

After two weeks we’ve won one and lost one. A narrow 2-0 defeat against a good side we had played in a friendly a few weeks previous was followed by a narrow 3-2 win. Its true what they say, football is a funny old game, as we played much better the week before and lost.
